That's what I don't get. I think most people thought that Ethan's contributions - as annoying as he and they could be - were, on balance, positive, and that his banishment was a negative. I certainly thought so.

So why is he pretending not to be him? Is it becasue he's only allowed to post here if he doesn't admit that he's the thrice-banished Ethan? Or that he thinks that his escorting career will be helped if he starts anew?

Whatever his motives, it won't work. Everyone knows it's him (did I mention - even Taylor figured it out?). He has, to put it mildly, an extremely distinct personality and style that is quite impossible to mask (as far I can see, his only efforts to do so were his use of upper-case letters for awhile and his aversion to discussing Israel - both of which, I guarantee, will not last much longer).

One thing that was always true - and probably always will be true - of Ethan is that he loves attention and loves making the Board be about him. Maybe his denial of the bleeding obvious is an effort to fulfill that need (it seems to be working).

Whatever it is, we all know - but don't really care - that he's Ethan. But if generates some fighting and hostility as a relief to HOOVILLE meeting discussions and everyone telling everyone else how much they care, I'm all for it.
