Doug69
>Since when did France control the UN? Since they were absurdly and baselessly given what we call a Security Council "veto," which means that nothing can happen at the UN if France opposes it. Haven't you heard about that? > If America truly is the >world's most powerful country and the leader of the free >world, it wouldn't need to indulge in all this bully-boy >rhetoric about the French, the Canadians, and anybody else who >has the unmitigated gall to suggest that what America does is >not always 100% correct. There's a pretty big difference - fundamental, actually - between "suggesting that what America does is not always 100% correct," and believing that America is no better or different than Al-Qaeda, or believing that Ameriac is actually a bigger threat to justice and world peace than terrorists are. Once can engage in the former type of criticism and still be an ally; one who engages in the latter form of "thought" is, by definition, anything but an ally. >There is a very serious issue now as to what to do in Iraq. >Whether or not the US was right to invade, it did (with >assistance from my country, too). I recall from your posts where you claimed that you were in favor of this war prior to its commencement. Is that correct? > And now it's embroiled in a >mess that threatens the whole world if we don't do something >about it. Right - things were great in Iraq before. Iraq was such a peaceful, stablizing country, not only for the Middle East but for the world. And now the U.S. has ruined everything by removing Saddam Hussein. With the Hussein regime went any chance for world peace and prosperity. The U.S. transformed Iraq from a Beacon of Hope and Stability into a "mess that threatens the whole world." The tolerance and even nostalgia that you seem to have for Saddam Hussein's regime is amazing. Those whose religion is Anti-Americanism will excuse and tolerate the most vicious, murderous excesses of dictators anywhere - like the Pillar of Anti-American Thought, Noam Chomsky, apologist for the worst murderous regimes, including Pol Pot. The mass murders, genocide, sick militarism of dictators around the world is all fine, to be expected, no big deal. It is American military action - even when aimed at such genocidal dictators - that must be stopped and condemned at all costs. > All of us, including the French, have to work out >what to do, and the US shouldn't be feeling so self righteous >about French criticism given the present disaster in Iraq. So now Iraq is a "disaster"? When you were supporting the war, what did you think would occur? That a nice Parliament and universal peace would descend on Iraq within 5 months after the war in a country that has been under the thumb of a sociopathic dictator for the last 30 years? >As for the cartoon from Le Monde, it makes a rather powerful >and quite legitimate point, I would have thought. While we >are busy remembering the 3000 or so killed on 9/11, we might >spare a thought for the thousands more who were butchered by >the Pinochet regime in Chile, installed with US assistance 30 >years ago on that very day. Perhaps Americans might care to >remember that they weren't the only innocent ones killed in >unjustified ideologically inspired wars in recent years. It >doesn't make 9/11 right, and it doesn't hurt the pain of those >who lost loved ones in the WTC, but it is undoubtedly right to >remember the others who died on that date in 1973. RIGHT - it is outrageous, and so fucking nationalistic, of Americans, to spend one day of the year - 9/11 - not flagellating ourselves and just admitting that we're as bad as Al-Qaeda. I mean, why don't we just spend every 9/11 not commemorating what occurred, but instead, just 'fessing up that we are actually the World's Evil Ones? I have another good idea - what don't YOU just fess up? As a fan of this vile Le Monde cartoon, can you admit that there's nothing uniquely awful about 9/11 in your mind because what happened to the U.S. on that day is nothing the U.S. hasn't done to numerous other countries and peoples again and again, and even worse? phage
I generally don’t respond to the dolts on this board, but in less than a year, you’ve managed to plaster over 1300 posts on this board – most of them annoying dribble. >Well, damn that makes it irrefutabale proof!!! A friend of >"yours" states his uninformed, racist, nationalist bullshit >and that makes it a fact, right, not only about the >Argentinians but the French as well? Who is talking about facts you fucking idiot? We’re talking about opinions and feelings. My friend is attracted almost exclusively to Latins. Not a racist bone in his body, but that doesn’t mean he is too stupid to recognize cultural differences. Are you? He has traveled to South America and Europe very extensively. Have you? >Well, shit, why do the >rest of us bother to form our own opinions based on our own >experiences and based on history? I honestly don’t give a shit about your opinions – formed or otherwise. I was responding to one annoying Frenchman who chose the anniversary of 9/11 to resurrect a thread and stick his cyber tongue out. Your experiences are probably trivial and your understanding of history minimal, but please, by all means, scratch your head and form one of your brilliant opinions. You apparently have one about every single topic on this board. >Well, please provide the email address of your phearless, >phucking phriend phage, so we can all get the phacts. Clever. At least you understand that ‘ph’ is pronounced the same as ‘f’. I’ll give you that.
JamesK840
It's called a VETO... >Since when did France control the UN? There has been a lot of stupid BS from a lot of stupid americans, but France's handling on the resolution in the UN *was* wrong. And the motivation for it ($, embarrassment) seems as bad our motivations for it ($$$, cheap gas for Hummers). It wasn't even opposing the resolution as it stood that gets me, your dipshit leader said he'd VETO ANY USE OF FORCE... So even if our (well, the US Supreme Court's, anyway) president wasn't an egomaniacal bully with a room-temp IQ who's only goal seems to be money for his friends and contributors, Saddam got the message loud and clear that the UN had no intention of forcing him to do anything. It's just Saddam (nor Europe, nor many americans) counted on Halliburton's influence over our foreign policy or would have believed such greed, avarice, and shortsightedness in an American president that he'd be willing to throw away NATO and the UN. I'm just saying it was bungled on your side before it became a complete clusterfuck on our side.
VaHawk
>I generally don’t respond to the dolts on this board, but in >less than a year, you’ve managed to plaster over 1300 posts on >this board – most of them annoying dribble. WOW! Yet another brilliantly original response. When all else fails, resort to all the old tired cliches about number of posts, needing counseling etc. > >Who is talking about facts you fucking idiot? We’re talking >about opinions and feelings. My friend is attracted almost >exclusively to Latins. Not a racist bone in his body, but >that doesn’t mean he is too stupid to recognize cultural >differences. Are you? He has traveled to South America and >Europe very extensively. Have you? Talk about pharting in the wind phathead! What does any of this has to do with anything? Oh but then only you and your ilk have a right to express an opinion or feeling, right? >I honestly don’t give a shit about your opinions – formed or >otherwise. I was responding to one annoying Frenchman who >chose the anniversary of 9/11 to resurrect a thread and stick >his cyber tongue out. You apparently have one about every single topic on >this board. Likewise, phuckhead I don't give a shit about your opinions either but what the hell that's one of the drawbacks of posting on a public forum on the internet, that's PUBLIC not PRIVATE. I was responding to one truly annoying American who feels that others have no right to post anything on that forum which disagrees with his self-rightous feelings that he is speaking for all Americans. Please take it easy wiping your ass the next time you take a dump, as you really don't want to flush the few brain cells you have left that are capable of cognitive thought down the toilet. And no, I don't have an opinion about every topic on the board, but I do have an opinion about most things, just like every other person. And I will continue to express them as is my right, so take a phlying phuck phathead.
Guest fukamarine
>>I have never heard the expression "Ugly Canadian" - if you >get >>my drift. > >Maybe that would be because if they are all like you it would >be a redundant term? Darn, if only your drift was the nearest >ice floe that you could jump on and sail off to Antartica and >hopefully it would melt somewhere around the equator. >> >>You on the other hand exemplify why the term "Ugly American" >>has become a household word around the globe. >> >Is this the same reason that you exemplify the term "Clownish >Canadian"? Actually, I've never heard the term "Clownish Canadian". Fess up now, you just coined that phrase right now in a feeble attempt to be nasty to little old me - right? But I'm sure you can do much better if you really try. Go ahead, take another shot. I find your lack of imgination facinating. And, by the way, I confess the error in my previous post to dear Dougie. I thought he would have difficulty in finding a soul mate - how silly of me that I didn't think of you as I typed those words. I guess that's what happens when you get syphilis and leprosy. Your brain dries up and your dick falls off - describes you to a "T" Glad you found each other, too bad you can't get married. Oh - one more thing - have a wonderful Sunday fukamarine
BewareofNick
How typically Repiglican to raise the flag in defense of their bungled effort in Vietraq. Opposing this war is not anti-American, it's anti-Shrub. The war was waged under false pretenses (non existent WMD, clear and present danger, alleged connection with Al Qaeda). Instead of focusing on the war on terror, Shrub decided to invade Iraq for several reasons: 1) to distract the American people from his failure to capture Osama bin laden 2) to provide economic riches to his oil buddies, most particularly VP Cheney (aka the Brain to Shrub's Pinky) and the Haliburton Corporation. 3) to avenge Daddy's honor and 4) to help Shrub get elected in 2004 since his handling of the economy and domestic issues have been frightfully incompetent. What did the war in Iraq accomplish? We ousted Saddam, perhaps the only good thing. This war allowed AlQaeda to regroup and grow stronger. We have needlessly lost American lives (Where are those alleged WMD again?) Shrub had racked up an irresponsibly large deficit and blown the Clinton surplus (Monica must have given Shrub lessons) Al Qaeda is now actually operating in iraq, so I guess the MisAdministration turned one of their lies into reality. Shrub alienated the rest of the world with his cowboy tactics, yet now has gone back to the UN (after labeling them irrelevant) to plead for their help which he was told in the beginning he would need. John Ashcroft and the Ministry of justice have launched an all out campaign to undermine the Constitution with the Orwellian patriot Act. Anti-American? Nah. Anti-Shrub? HELL YEAH!! Oh, but wait, none of that matters because Bill Clinton got a blowjob and lied about it and Al Gore invented the internet. “On the fields of Trenzalore, at the fall of the Eleventh, when no living creature may speak falsely or fail to give answer, a question will be asked. A question that must never, ever be answered: Doctor.....WHO?????"

Fuck it, I don't feel that way about Canadians at all, I was just trying to jerk your chain, cause I really don't care for you, but I shouldn't feebly take that out on all Canadians. >syphilis and leprosy. Your brain dries up and your dick falls >off - describes you to a "T" Talk about feeble. But I won't elaborate any further, because you are totally weak now, as you have lost all the cutting edge that you used to possess, and as such, I doubt if I will ever reply to another one of your posts, as they are getting as boring as watching paint dry.
